Del Monte Foods is one of the largest U.S. manufacturers and marketers of pet food (Milk Bone, Meow Mix, Kibbles & Bits, 9Lives, Natural Balance and other brands) and canned food (Del Monte, S&W, Contadina, College Inn and other brands) products.

Centerview Capital realized its investment following the sale of the canned food business to Del Monte Pacific for $1.7bn in 2014 and the sale of Big Heart Pet Brands (the remaining pet division) to The J.M. Smucker Company for $5.8bn in 2015.
